Hey buddy, it would be nice to hear your voice! Call when you get a chance. I'm having a fine time hanging out with everyone here, wedding crazy time will start next week. I still have to bake the cakes. The weather has been great, cool and no humidity. Been wondering how it is there, and how you're doing. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Dude

Hey, I heard the word 'bout yo new project with the J&B Blues Project doin' traditional songs. Hey, if there's anything you shouldn't do, it's play with those little bratty teeny-boppers. They play rap, right? I dunno. Rap does not fit in with traditional music. Definetly not.

I was wondering if you remember that song (I think you wrote it) called "Wicked As I Am"? You recorded it once. I think it's on your EP "Hard Times, Glory, and the Space Between", or maybe you left that one off? That was a good song.

I saw what that guy below said and it got me thinking about Death. It's really not eternal, you know. We still live on, in spirits and allys alike. It's really not a God-given right, to walk the path of Death. It's OUR right, and not a right to be abused. We were BORN walking, and if YOU weren't then you must be Satan spawn. Satan walks too, but it's an evil, adulterated walk, one that brings splow and splur with a hint of gork. Dark passage ways do not bring light; they RAPE light, with reckless durgon. Porg and Mler-Dard is the only answer. The Bow and Arrow of Satan is nocked, ready to unleash inner demons of Black Night. Black Night Der.

Hey! What's goin' down? I heard about your current project "Just Plain Hungry", and I really like the idea of recording your new songs live, ya know, get a raw feel. That's what Neil Young did on his '73 album "Time Fades Away" (still unreleased on CD, NEIL...!). Seems like yer gettin' pretty busy again and that's sumpin' you ain't been in a while. The revival of Folk is coming... or death?

hello, sir. yo music ain't to bad. actually, it rocks pretty hard! almost as hard as Metallica! or SRV! or Neil Young! or Rush! you get the point.

p.s. when will you get a new version of that derned review from "rootstime"? even though the current one is pretty freakin' funny!

Great to hear you and Rachel yesterday. You were the highlight of the festival. Maybe I'll see you around DC some time. Keep the faith in your music and in God. Your hard work will be rewarded.

Hey, Alexinder. It was good meeting and hearing you at VICFA on Sunday. Just popped in to learn more about you and what you're doing. Enjoyed perusing the site. I know the road is not an easy place to be...especially when you scrape for every cent along the way. I spend every weekend on the road between a full-time job, part-time teaching, and part-time music directing and it's exhausting! Unfortunately, being a bit older than you, I have too many bills to pay to take the risk not keeping the full-time job right now, but I guess that's the price we pay to pursue our dreams and do what we love to do sharing our music with as many folks as we can.

I wish you the best for continued success, and if you ever want to hit some new venues around my area, let me know, and I'll hook you up with some direct contacts.

Keep on climbin',
Broda

Why did you move the Griffin date? You should have cancelled it, considering that they've double-booked you TWICE now! And they've done it other times too, believe me. I think the way the Griffin handles their booking is terrible. Anyways, Peace Out!!

Wow! I just saw you on Good Day Tulsa and wow! i just love your playing style and your voice. Plus I loved the song that you did. I did not catch your name though so I went to the folk fesival website and clicked on each guy name until I found you. Yes good things are going to happen for you. I totally belive that. I hope that I can see you in concert someday. I sure wish you lived in Tulsa. Thank you so much Alexinder. Your talent really made my day and I will be buying your cd. Have a good day and welcome to Oklahoma. I know you will have many fans here.

Personally I think that Mercy had good potential but just did not happen. Perhaps the combination of two conflicting genres did not gel in the final product. What you are doing now is absolutely amazing, that album was far from. I'm sorry if I offend you in any way but I truly believe that you will regret Mercy!!

I think you did great on the Mercy album and should consider it one of your accomplishments at such a young age - keep traveling further west and learning and forgive.
Do what you love even if it isn't always easy. I am listening to your new album soon.

Hey! It's J, from JB Blues (you know who I am). Today is the day that you head off to TX,OK, and beyond. I think it's amazing and I admire that you got into the WG Folk Fest. It's also awesome that you have no fear of staying out just camping in between The KerrVille Folk Fest and The WG Folk Fest. Keep on rockin` in the free world, as the imortel Neil Young said, and watch out for bears!!

Your new songs are wonderful!
So happy to see that you are back to playing music that you like.
Happy to see that you and all the other talented musicians that you used to play with you are out on their own and have left the rut you were all in (KWIM?). I've been following all of you on the internet and you all seem very successful. I'm not surprised. It really was an amazing group.
Good luck! You and the others have found your own niche. I am glad you all took a stand for what is right. I don't know everything but I can easily surmise the situtation. Musicians need to have integrity as well as talent. I know I will be able to say that I saw all of you when you first started.

I can fully understand your Dylan influence but Ellis Paul?? List 3 of his best songs for me and I'll try to check them out. I saw him live and was un-impressed. Check out some Steve Goodman. Especially his live recordings. He has been the best live performer I have ever seen.
Good Luck with your music!!

Saw you last night at the Paradiso...Again I enjoyed your voice and poignant poetic lyrics. I will be playing with my band "Stripping Daisy" this Monday night at the Austin Grill in SPringfield (Jan 22) from 9:30 until whenever. I could introduce you to the manager there and you could probably get a gig. It is only on Monday nights, but if that interests you, then come on by and I will do that.
